Where can you find a world-class group of students and faculty presenting an exciting display of innovative and cutting edge-research from all areas of water science, engineering, and policy, and a gathering of the best and brightest water professionals, alumni, and faculty—all on one day and all in one location? The Mason Water Symposium

Overview: The Mason Water Symposium highlights inter-disciplinary water science, engineering, and policy achievements and enables water-focused collaborations across the campus and beyond. The Symposium will showcase the brightest and best undergraduate and graduate student projects in water science, engineering and policy as well as lectures from key Mason researchers and professors. The Symposium will also host several invited speakers from government and private sector partners.

All members of the Mason Community interested in all aspects of water-related professions and all supporters of water science, engineering and policy are invited to join us for a fantastic day of student presentations and guest speakers.

Poster Competition: The Water Forum Poster Competition will be held during the Mas Water Forum Symposium on April 30, 2015. This competition provides students with an opportunity to showcase thei research on water. Posters must show the enirety of a research process, from the research questions to the conclusions. To compete, students must be able to present their posters on April 30th between 9am and noon. 5 prizes of $100 each will be awarded to the best posters. Posters will be printed at no cost to the student. Posters must be no larger than 40"(h) x 36"(w), including margin space. Avoid dark backgrounds. Posters will be displayed throughout the day on April 30th. Students may submit posters to Fernanda Craig, [email protected]All posters must be submitted by Friday, April 24, 2015 at 5pm.
